We are here to answer some of your burning questions! If you still have inquiries after reading what’s below, then feel free to contact us and reach out!
If you prefer a specific month, please contact us, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your preferred month! Appointments are filled on a first-come basis; however, no animal is reserved until a down payment is received. You may order our beef online, and the pick-up/delivery location will be determined on what works best for both parties.
Plan on about 6 cubic feet of freezer space for a half beef. Chest freezers tend to hold bulk beef more efficiently than upright models, making them a popular choice for customers ordering quarters, halves, or whole beef. If you’re stocking up for the year, a dedicated freezer ensures easy storage and quick access to farm-fresh beef whenever you need it.
For a half side of beef, expect approximately:
- 2 Rump Roasts | 3 Tip Roasts | 10 Chuck Roasts
- 12–14 Ribeyes | 6–8 T-Bone Steaks | 4 Porterhouse Steaks
- 5–7 Sirloins | 5–7 Round Steaks | 4 packages of Short Ribs
- 7–8 Soup Bones/Marrow | 100–160 lbs. of lean ground beef
You can also customize your order: grind any cut into extra ground beef or create specialty items (hot dogs, summer sausage, ring bologna, bacon, snack sticks) for an additional fee. Organs like liver, tongue, or oxtail are available, too. Selecting premium cuts like Brisket, Flank Steak, Skirt Steak, Rib Roast, or New York Strips may reduce quantities of other cuts, and every animal is unique. But don’t worry, we are here to help you every step of the way. We’ll help you make the most of your order.
A custom order means you choose how your beef is cut when you purchase a quarter, half, or whole animal. Each animal is reserved before it goes to the butcher, so your order is tailored specifically to your preferences.
Amy, David, Kelly, or Ben will personally guide you through the entire process from reserving your beef to completing the cutting sheet. We help translate the cuts you’re familiar with at the grocery store into butcher options, introduce you to new cuts you may love, and make sure you get exactly what works best for your family.
The result? A freezer stocked with the cuts you actually use, processed just the way you want. We make it simple, stress-free, and fully supported, even if this is your first bulk beef purchase.

Our Black Angus cattle are raised on a natural, free-choice diet designed for animal health and exceptional beef quality. They enjoy grass hay and a grain blend of oats, cracked corn, whole corn, and molasses. During the warmer months, our cows and calves graze freely on pasture; in winter, they’re fed high-quality grass and alfalfa hay. Fresh, clean water is always available through livestock waterers.
This balanced, hormone- and antibiotic-free diet supports excellent marbling, rich flavor, and consistent tenderness, the kind of beef you’ll be proud to serve your family.
Ordering bulk beef is easier than you think. Our family personally guides you through every step, so you feel confident from order to pick up.
